We have been partners with DuPont for many years. We buy DuPont’s well-known Tyvek® material, processing different versions of it in our various business areas and sell it in the German-speaking territories.


Description of the Material

DuPontTM Tyvek® is a high density (HDPE) spun fleece made from 100 % polyethylene fibers which is welded together under heat and pressure without using chemical bonding agents. The combination of a wide variety of material properties (see below) means that a large number of applications are possible.

Material properties

  • Breathable
  • Light and pliable; remains flexible even in cold conditions
  • Environmentally friendly, good recycling properties
  • Non-tearing and resilient
  • Steam permeable
  • Water-resistant
  • Does not burn, but melts instead
  • Washable up to 30° C (without detergent)

Tyvek® can be purchase from us in rolls or in specific lengths of your choice.
